Threshing Machine and Locomotive (c. 1885)
On the left is a model of a threshing machine (c. 1885) similar to the one painted by Carl Wilhelm Christian Malchin. The model was constructed in 1962-63 by Hermann Ranft, who used wood, iron, brass, and imitation leather. The machine is connected to a steam locomotive on the right, also by Ranft.
