Coronation Banquet for Francis I, Holy Roman Emperor, in Frankfurt am Main on October 4, 1745 (c. 1750) This scene depicts the secular coronation banquet for Francis I (r. 1745-65). It took place in the Great Hall of Frankfurt’s “Römer” and was attended by numerous dignitaries.
