A Non-Traditional "Family" (1978)

By the 1970s, the commune movement of 1968 had spawned rural living communities, where multiple families and generations lived together in the countryside. The commune featured below included three families who shared a traditional half-timbered farmhouse in Hausen/Hessisch-Lichtenau (West Germany). Photo by Abisag Tüllmann.
