Out and About in Style (1950)
A few years after the end of the war, normal everyday life had returned, above all in suburbs and peripheral areas that had escaped damage and in city neighborhoods that had gradually been rebuilt. In the photograph below, which was taken in West Berlin in 1950, we see a well-dressed woman with a dog pushing a modern baby stroller on the street. Photo by Friedrich Seidenstücker.
